The Best Keto / Low Carb "Chex" Mix

Ingredients
  

Seasoned Butter Sauce

  • 8 Tbsp Salted Butter Melted
  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Hot Sauce* (Optional)

Dry Mix

  • 4 Cups Mixed Nuts
  • 1 Cup Cheese Crisps
  • 1 Cup Pork Rinds - Broken into bite size pieces

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven to 250 Degrees
  • Line 2 sheetpans with parchment paper
  • Melt butter in medium mixing bowl
  • To the melted butter, Add remaining seasoned butter sauce ingredients(Worcestershire Sauce, Salt, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Hot Sauce*) and mix well.
  • In Large mixing bowl, add Nut mix, cheese crisps and pork rinds. (you may have to break the pork rinds into your preferred bite sizes)
  • Mix Dry ingredients well
  • Pour seasoned butter sauce over nut mix
  • Mix well- You want to make sure you see the sauce all over the pieces. This may take a couple minutes of some good tossing.
  • Pour the fully mixed "chex" mix by dividing into the 2 preared sheet pans.
  • Bake for 1.5 hours @ 250 degrees. - Stirring 3 times (every 20 minutes)
  • Prepare a counter space with paper towels or tea towels (this will be for coling and drying)
  • Once chex mix is done - carrefully pour mix onto the prepared paper towels for coolng and drying. For about 30-60 minutes
  • Once fully cooled, you can store in airtight container for up to 4 weeks, if it lasts that long.
