This Chicken Parmesan is so easy and delicious! Just a few steps and you will have Cheesy Low Carb Chicken Parm in less than 30 minutes.
Air Fryer or Oven?
This is the airfryer that I have and I love it! But it looks like meat thermometer, this one is similar to what I have. I use it ALL the time. I also recommend putting your chicken on a wire rack like this one, so that the chicken gets cooked all around for the crispiness.
Ingredients
- Chicken Breasts- Thin
- Almond Flour- This flour is my favorite
- Parmesan Cheese
- Pink Salt, Pepper, and Garlic McCormick All-Purpose Seasoning
- Salt
- Pepper
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Low Carb Marinara
- Mozzarella Cheese – Fresh shredded cheese is my favorite and it is the lowest carb. This cheese shredder is amazing! It is so fun to use, the husband and kids love shredding the cheese.
Sides
Here are some of my suggested sides:
- Salad- I love those pre-bagged salads with cabbage and I chop up spinch for more lettuce-like leaves
- My girls love salad- as long as the pieces are small enough for them to eat.

- Cheddar Cheese Biscuits – I love cheese! Great for soaking some of the sauce that may drip off of your chicken onto your plate.

Low Carb Cheesy Chicken Parmesan
Ingredients
Breading- dry mix
- 1 Cup Almond Flour
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan Grated
- 2 tsp Pink Salt, Pepper, and Garlic McCormick All-PurposeSeasoning * See Notes
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Breading – wet mix
- 1 Egg Large
- 1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1/2 tsp Pink Salt, Pepper, and Garlic McCormick All-PurposeSeasoning
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Chicken Parm Main Ingredients
- 2 lb Chicken breasts thin cut * see notes
- 1 Cup Low Carb Marinara Sauce
- 2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
Instructions
- Mix all Dry Breading ingredients
- Mix all wet breading ingredients
- Pat chicken dry
- Dredge each chicken piece in the wet mix
- Place each dredged chicken piece in dry breading mix and spoon dry mix on top, gently pressing down so breading sticks to bottom of chicken.
- Carefuly place on pan covered with foil (for mess free)
- Preheat Air Fryer, if needed
- Spray trays with non-stick spray
- Place chicken on Air Fryer trays
- Cook 400 for 15-20 minutes (may need to rotate or turnhalfway through)- Until chicken is browned and cooked through
- Move chicken pieces to foil lined baking sheet
- Spoon low carb marinara sauce on each chicken piece
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of each piece
- Place in oven on broil for 3-5 minutes- until cheese is melty and browned
- Serve warm.
Notes
If you do not have the McCormick seasoning- You can use half garlic powder and half onion powder.
Chicken Breasts- you can buy the already thin cut chicken breasts or you can take a thick chicken breast- cut in half and use a mallet to beat down the chicken to about ¼ -1/2 in thick. This allows for the chicken to cook through quickly and evenly
If you do not have an air fryer- you can use your Oven. bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
