Who doesn’t like a home-cooked juicy, flavorful burger? This one is a MUST try. It is so delicious and so easy. You will prefer to start making your burgers at home more often. It is faster and tastier than take-out.

Let the kids help!
The best thing about this recipe, you can let your kiddos jump in and help. My 4-year-old loves to help add ingredients, and you can even let them mix all together with their hands. So mushy and fun!
Forming the Hamburger Patty
This part is something I learned from watching my mom and many different cooking shows.
I start by separating out the size of patties that I want (I usually like a little over ¼ lb for each). Then toss firming from one hand to the next, like tossing a ball. Do it a little forcefully so that the air pockets get moved out and the meat gets more formed together. Do this amount 10 – 15 times and then start to flatten and round out your hamburger patty. Lastly, mold in a little dent in the center of the patty. The dent helps the patty hold its shape and not puff up in the center when it is cooking.
