My dad makes the BEST omelettes; however, since I haven’t lived at my parents’ house for many years now, this recipe is a wonderful replacement.
Omelettes are Sooo Good! And so good for you! I love that you can add whatever protein, veggie, or seasoning that you want to create a new breakfast creation. I usually pick items in my fridge that are about to expire or that I will end up having throw out. Great way to use leftover bacon, sausage, lunch meat, or leftover sautéed veggies. This one is little mess and no frying pans to clean!
This is Omelette Pan a kitchen FAVORITE! It is great to have something that allows me to quickly throw a breakfast together. Because it is so amazing, I have 2.
What to put in your omelette?
- Eggs
- 2 large eggs seem to work great with the size of the omelette pan.
- Heavy Whipping Cream or Milk
- I love this because it gives some good fat and makes your eggs fluffy
- Dairy free? If so, you can use unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
- Cream Cheese
- I have found that I love the Chive and Onion cream cheese with my omelettes. I like the creaminess it adds and the flavor
- You can use regular cream cheese
- You can also omit all together
- Meat Protein
- Bacon crumbles – If I have any leftover bacon from weekend, I will use that. Or I like having a bag of bacon crumbles in the fridge.
- Sausage crumble or pieces.
- Chopped ham/turkey (sometimes I just use lunchmeat)
- Shredded chicken or turkey
- Or omit all together
- Veggies
- Spinach- This is my favorite.
- Pico de Gallo
- Bell peppers
- Jalapenos
- Mushrooms
- Leftover steamed veggies
- Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper – Most of the time this is all I use
- Cajun seasoning- I occasionally had some spice- such as Slap Ya Mamma
- Oil for Pan
- You need to spray in order to prevent sticking
- You can use your preferred oil to spray the omelette pan.
- I use olive oil out of my sprayer – I use this one
- Cheese
- You can use your preferred cheese of choice.
- I prefer to shred my own cheese. Not only does it taste better, it is also cheaper and lower in carbs.
- Here is the rotary grater that I LOVE!
